Find out more about my professional background

I'm a Homeopathic Veterinarian, but my professional career began quite differently. I'm an economist and finance specialist who worked in this field for 17 years. However, my desire to follow my childhood dream of becoming a veterinarian led me on a new professional journey.

Driven by my passion for animals, I returned to university and, with a holistic view of health, began my specialization in Homeopathy at the Escola Gaúcha de Homeopatia (EGH-RS), two years after starting my graduation. At this school, I now work as an Assistant Professor on the Homeopathy Specialization Course for doctors, veterinarians and dentists. In addition, for four years I worked as a volunteer in the Veterinary Service of the Homeopathic League of Rio Grande do Sul.

In 2023, I had the opportunity to take refresher courses in Mycology and Phytonutraceuticals at the Istituto Fauno (Italy), the first Italian veterinary naturopathy school. In Italy, I also had the chance to do an internship at the Veterinary Hospital of the University of Bologna, in the areas of Endocrinology, Gastroenterology and Nutrition. My academic experience includes participation in research and scientific papers, with one of my studies being presented at the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (ACVIM) Annual Forum in the United States in 2019.

During my professional practice, I realized that many of my patients suffered from illnesses related to emotional and mental imbalances. Motivated to help them in a more complete way, I looked for additional therapeutic tools to promote balance and health in animals. I became a Usui/Holy Fire® III Reiki Ryoho Master, an Animal Reiki Master and a Holy Fire® III Karuna Reiki Master, certified by the International Center for Reiki Training (ICRT), as well as having studied Bach Flowers at the Dr. Edward Bach Institute in Brazil. These two forms of therapy, Reiki and Bach Flowers, not only help to treat emotional and behavioral illnesses, but also enhance the effectiveness of homeopathic and phytonutraceutical treatments, helping to balance energy and restore health in a more complete way.

I am also a professional member of the Center for Reiki Research (CRR) and the ICRT and strictly adhere to the ethical standards and international guidelines established by the ICRT in my Reiki sessions, ensuring a safe, respectful and effective service for both animals and their owners. I also conduct scientific research into the use of Reiki for animals, always seeking to improve my knowledge and contribute to the evolution of this practice.
