Here you can find some scientific papers I have contributed to and some articles published in magazines and websites.
In this article, published in the Autumn 2025 edition of Touch Magazine (UK Reiki Association), I discuss the growing presence of Reiki within human healthcare and how this inspired my journey into holistic therapies after the loss of one of my dogs. I also highlight how Reiki can support animals experiencing pain, chronic conditions, emotional imbalance, and overall well-being, offering a gentle and non-invasive complement to conventional care.

Reiki Restores Balance After a Healing Crisis
In this inspiring case report, published in the Summer 2025 Edition of Reiki News Magazine, I explore how the gentle yet powerful practice of Reiki supported a man’s recovery following an unexpected reaction to a homeopathic treatment. Living in a remote area without immediate access to conventional or homeopathic care, he turned to distant Reiki—and through regular sessions, including advanced techniques like the Ketsueki Kokan-ho, his body gradually returned to balance and health.
This case reaffirms that Reiki is a complementary therapy and a profound healing force capable of addressing physical manifestations of imbalance, especially when conventional or homeopathic care is not immediately accessible.

In this article, published in the Fall 2024 issue of Reiki News Magazine, I discuss the importance of integrating Reiki into veterinary medicine as a valuable contribution to patient care and support for guardians. I also address the challenges and benefits of integrating Reiki into routine veterinary care.

In this article, published in the Fall 2023 issue of Reiki News Magazine, I share how I discovered Reiki and my perception of how this therapy contributes to strengthening the healing effect in my work with animals by combining Reiki with homeopathy.

Impact of Distant Reiki on Owner Assessment of Health and Wellbeing of Adult Dogs: A Blinded, Placebo-controlled, Randomized Trial
This article presents my research on the effects of distant Reiki on dogs’ health and wellbeing. Reiki is a holistic biofield therapy widely used in hospitals around the world, with growing scientific evidence supporting its benefits for human health. However, little is known about its impact on animals. In this blinded, placebo-controlled, randomized clinical trial, I evaluated how distant Reiki influences common veterinary complaints, focusing especially on pain. The results showed that dogs receiving Reiki experienced a significant reduction in pain compared to the control group. These findings suggest that Reiki may offer a valuable complementary approach to pain management in veterinary medicine and encourage further research in this promising field.
This study was published in the Journal of the American Holistic Veterinary Medical Association (JAHVMA), July 2025, Volume 78.

Homeopathy in Action
In this article published in the 31st issue of TerrAnimalia magazine, I share an inspiring story I experienced on a farm in the coastal region of southern Brazil. It follows the journey of a newborn lamb with a congenital deformity, initially with little hope of survival. Through specific homeopathic treatment, the lamb not only survived, but thrived, regaining strength and correcting its posture within 30 days. This case highlights the enormous potential of homeopathy in veterinary medicine, showing how holistic therapies can offer healing and hope, even when all other options seem to have been exhausted.

In this article, published in June 2024 in the Italian animal naturopathy magazine TerrAnimalia, I share some thoughts on the future of veterinary medicine. These reflections were born out of my observations of scientific and technological advances and the current health conditions of domestic animals.

Some herbs have active ingredients that can relax animals, but they should be administered under the supervision of a veterinarian. In this article, published on the Vida de Bicho website, I explain, together with other professionals, a little about the use of herbal medicine in dogs.
